Silver Ferns claim series whitewash with convincing win




The Silver Ferns have crushed Jamaica once again to complete a 3-0 series clean sweep, winning 66-38 in Rotorua.

After the first quarter finished at 13-13, the Ferns pulled away going into half time after scoring 15 goals whilst only conceding twice.

The third quarter onwards was all about the home side, with the Silver Ferns pulling away to lead 50-28 going into the final spell.

Bailey Mes was once again at her clinical best, scoring 25 from 28 attempts, while the other Silver Ferns shooters were efficient in front of goal too.

Te Paea Selby-Rickit went 18 from 21, Ameliaranne Ekenasio was 13 from 15 and Maia Wilson went 10 from 11.
