Katrina Grant has fronted for the first time since the Silver Ferns’ Commonwealth Games collapse – and she’s committed to being part of its review.
Grant, like other under-pressure Ferns players are back with their domestic teams for the start of the new Premiership season this weekend, but all eyes are fixed on just what's happening next for the national side.
"We're getting emails saying it's coming, it's coming," Grant told 1 NEWS.
"I really hope I'm involved – if I'm not then I’ll make sure I am."
Said emails need to be coming soon with the review panel members set to be named by the end of this week.
What is clear though is the ongoing questions over the future of current national coach Janine Southby.
While Grant wasn’t ready to speak on behalf of the Silver Ferns about whether they’d back Southby if she were retained, the captain did tell 1 NEWS what she would do if it came up in the review.
"Ill have to go into that panel and answer questions with what I do and see at the end of that," she said.
With the findings of the review set to be released next month, it leaves just over 12 months until the next Netball World Cup.
A sizeable job ahead - whoever's coaching if the Ferns want to make a podium appearance.
But assistant Ferns coach Yvette McLauson-Dury says it would just be part of the journey.
"It is what it is and have to be prepared to deal with it and the best thing we can do is prepare players."
For the time being, as the Pulse coach, the best and only way is to push on through the domestic competition.
