Silver Ferns vice-captain Maria Folau will miss tonight's Taini Jamison Trophy clash against Jamaica, rested as she returns from a knee complaint.

After the 75-42 win over Malawi last night, coach Janine Southby has made just one change to the side to take on the Sunshine Girls, with defender Temalisi Fakahokotau returning from an ankle injury.

The team's medical staff are pleased with Folau's progress on her return, with the veteran goal attack to sit out of tonight's clash in the hope of preserving their star shooter for next month's Commonwealth Games.

Jamiaca, who last night defeated Fiji 83-38, will come up against the Silver Ferns at the North Shore Events Centre.
