After the Tactix took an early lead, with Ellie Bird and Brooke Leaver getting the Cantabrians off to a 4-0 start, the Pulse quickly burst into life, taking an 11-7 advantage at the end of the opening quarter.

From there, it was all one way traffic for the Pulse, adding to their lead to be up 22-15 at the halftime interval.

Inside the circle, Ameliaranne Ekenasio (21 from 26) and Tiana Metuarau (15 from 20) led the way, back up late on by the ever reliable Aliyah Dunn (12 from 12).

For the Tactix, Ellie Bird stood out with 21 from her 22 shots, however the lack of support from Leaver (two from six) and Kate Beveridge (10 from 14) saw the Mainland fall short of upsetting the high flying Pulse.

The win sees the Pulse remain top of the table, with 18 points from their six games played. The Tactix meanwhile, sit second from bottom with six points from seven played, with only the Mystics below them.
