Veteran Silver Ferns defender Casey Kopua relished her international return, taking the court once again against Australia in London this morning.
Having ended her international retirement late last year, Kopua this morning donned the black dress once more, as the Silver Ferns fell to a narrow 53-50 defeat to the Diamonds.
Speaking afterward though, the Silver Ferns' vice-captain said she's been pleased so far with her return to the international fold.
"[I'm] just taking one step at a time," Kopua told 1 NEWS.
"This is part of the plan for me in my head, but also not trying to save the world at the same time.
"Sometimes I think what am I doing here, and then I remember why I am here.
"Then it's just who cares, just go for it, what's next. It's the last seven months of my netball."
