Kiwi teenager with a need for speed racing up the motorsport ladder

Brock is named after racing royalty, and on the eve of Bathurst, is moving into the competitive Toyota 86 series.

A Kiwi teenager is racing into his motorsport career, using the likes of Scott McLaughlin and Shane Van Gisbergen to fuel his dreams.

Brock Gilchrist started with a quad bike at three, graduated to a go kart at six, and at just 15, is already working his way up the motorsport ladder.

Seven Sharp's Michael Holland went for a spin with the speed demon teen in the video above.
