Dropped New Zealand driver Hayden Paddon will return to action at this month's World Rally Championship event in Wales.
Hyundai Motorsport confirmed Paddon will contest Rally Great Britain from October 26-29 as part of a four-car assault.
The Kiwi made way for newly-signed Norwegian Andreas Mikkelson for the 11th of 13 rounds in Spain this week.
It is the first round ninth-placed Paddon has missed in what has been a disappointing campaign.
Hyundai said it needed to experiment with both drivers and cars in an effort to get its ailing manufacturers title bid back on track.
However, team boss Michael Nandan confirmed Paddon would join Mikkelson and team regulars Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo in Wales.
Mikkelson last week signed an extended contract through to the end of 2019, placing additional pressure on the established trio.
