Watch: Toa Samoa players help stranded motorist, push broken down car up busy Auckland street

October 25, 2017

Members of the Toa Samoa rugby league team got some unorthodox strength training ahead of their first Rugby League World Cup match against the Kiwis later this week by helping out a stranded motorist with their broken down car in Auckland.

Players spotted the vehicle on Auckland's Hobson Street near Wyndham Street yesterday and opted to help out by pushing the car up the road and out of the way of traffic.

Seven players jumped to the back of the vehicle and began pushing it with ease through the intersection and towards a safe spot on the other side.

Toa Samoa play the Kiwis on Saturday at Mount Smart Stadium at 8pm NZT.
