Jury finds man guilty of strangling, murdering Christchurch sex worker Renee Duckmanton
Warriors coach Stephen Kearney is confident his job is safe, even if the club's ownership were to change hands.
Kearney's first season in charge of the Warriors has been nothing short of a disaster, with the club now unable to make the play-offs for the sixth year in a row.
With speculation intensifying that club owner Eric Watson will sell his controlling stake in the Warriors to Auckland businessman Paul Davys, a change of personnel at the top could spell the end for Kearney's time as head coach.
However, the coach is confident that he will continue his tenure at the helm of the struggling side.
"I haven't even though about it to be honest," Kearney said when asked if he feared for his job.
"There hasn't been a change of ownership as of yet."
