NRL star Konrad Hurrell has made another authentic appearance on television - this time executing a hilarious live cross from Tonga from the back of a ute.
Hurrell appeared on TVNZ 1's Breakfast this morning with some teammates after the Mate Ma'a touched down in Tonga for preparations for this year's Rugby League World Cup.
But with his usual flair and natural ability to work the camera, the 26-year-old entertained hosts Hilary Barry and Jack Tame with his charismatic audition for the morning show.
"Malo e lelei, good morning Breakfast show!" Hurrell started off.
"We're just here in Tonga, Nuku'alofa... we're just heading to a primary school. Here's a beautiful American wharf.
"Just cruising along in the capital here in Tonga - we'll update you later."
Barry gave Hurrell's efforts a nine out of 10, with sports presenter Brodie Kane offering to "keep him on" the team.
