He may be yet to formally purchase the Warriors, but Richard Fale appears to have won over the club's biggest fan - the Mad Butcher.
Appearing at the Warriors' 20-8 win over the Titans on Saturday, Fale interacted with the club's fans, also appearing with the Mad Butcher (also known by his real name Sir Peter Leitch) on stage during the half time interval.
Jokingly, Fale suggested that the Mad Butcher was one of the sole reasons for wanting to visit Mt Smart Stadium so badly.
"I've heard about this guy, probably for five-six years," Fale began.
"I didn't even know he was still alive!"
The Mad Butcher didn't take kindly to the joke about his mortality, quickly tapping Fale with a light jab to the neck.
"That is pushing the boat out - I have 32 fights!" he responded.
