The Warriors are struggling to contain their excitement ahead of their return to finals football, says club legend and assistant coach Stacey Jones.
Having qualified eighth on the NRL ladder for their first taste of the finals since 2011, the Warriors have travelled to Sydney, and tonight face the Penrith Panthers in a do-or-die clash at ANZ Stadium.
However, while most sides would be affected by the pressure of the finals, the Warriors are embracing the challenge ahead of them.
"We understand that it will be another step up as far as the football goes and it's do or die," Jones told Stuff.
Coach Stephen Kearney says the side is purely focused on executing this week's game plan.
"But as far as preparation and how we approach it, nothing really changes for us, we've got to come with the right attitude and energy."
"It's been a really good week and there's been a buzz around the place.
"But we've enjoyed the week and know the boys have to put out a solid performance for 80 minutes and if we do that we give ourselves a chance, but it has been exciting."
The Warriors face off against the Panthers later tonight.
