Tonga star Tui Lolohea says the harmony within the squad ahead of the Rugby League World Cup couldn't be better, as players spend time in their homeland before the tournament starts later this month.
The squad will spend the next week in Tonga, both to bond and meet fans ahead of the tournament.
Speaking to 1 NEWS today, Lolohea says that his teammates are beginning to gel with one another.
"The way that we've bonded, we've pretty much laughed the whole time," Lolohea said.
"I only met Andrew (Fifita) yesterday, and it felt like I've known him for a while.
"There's no better feeling than that."
Tonga's first World Cup match is against Scotland on October 29 in Cairns.
