Warriors coach Stephen Kearney says that the ongoing uncertainty around the club's ownership has seriously affected his side's ability to bring in new players.
The Warriors have struggled in 2017, just one loss away from setting a new record for most consecutive losses, with many fans and commentators urging wide scale changes among the playing staff.
Meanwhile there is continued upheaval off the field, with majority owner Eric Watson wanting to sell his stake in the club.
Kearney though, insists that new arrivals are imminent.
"We should be getting some news over the next week or so," he said.
"There was a bit of a pause (for) a couple of weeks, when someone was potentially looking to buy the club."
"We've managed to get that sorted and hopefully we've got a couple of announcements in the next week or so."
