Kiwis forward Simon Mannering led a contingent of players to visit children at Wellington's Ronald McDonald house this morning, ahead of his side's Rugby League World Cup quarter-final against Fiji tonight.
Mannering, 31, was under no obligation to travel with the rest of the non-playing squad members for tonight's match, as the matchday team are instead usually preparing for their game.
However, the Kiwis and Warriors stalwart chose join the visit.
The Kiwis take on Fiji Bati at Wellington's Westpac Stadium later tonight.
