Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been ruled out of contention for the Kiwis' Test with the Kangaroos on October 13, according to a report from the NZ Herald.
Tuivasa-Sheck, 25, suffered a knee injury of the Warriors' NRL season ending defeat to the Penrith Panthers earlier this month, later revealed to be a medial ligament strain.
He has since undergone surgery, with the time frame of a possible return not allowing for international representation.
Tuivasa-Sheck's absence leaves Panthers star Dallin Watene-Zelezniak as the likely replacement in Michael Maguire's side to face Australia.
