Relentless Kiwis annihilate Scotland in World Cup drubbing in Christchurch

The Kiwis were on fire, handing Scotland a devastating 74-6 loss in their Rugby League World Cup clash at AMI Stadium in Christchurch today.

Shaun Johnson gets things underway kicking off to the Scots!

PRE MATCH

Having overcome some early jitters, the Kiwis posted an emphatic win in their first match of the tournament, defeating Samoa 38-8 in Auckland last week, looking to make it two from two tonight.

Up against New Zealand tonight, are a Scotland side coming off the back of an opening loss to Tonga, where they conceded 50 points to the Pacific powerhouse.

The last time these two sides met, Scotland pulled off arguably the upset of the year, holding the Kiwis to an 18-all draw in Cumbria.
