The Canterbury Bulldogs' Mad Monday celebrations are in the spotlight and have marred the first week of the NRL playoffs, with an Australian newspaper capturing photographs of players vomiting in public.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the Bulldogs players were groping each other's genitals while also stripping naked and partying in Sydney pub at a private function yesterday.

On the front page of the Telegraph today, there was an image of a player throwing up in the alleyway.

The Bulldogs finished 12th on the NRL ladder, only winning eight games and losing 16 in the 2018 season.

Yesterday while the Bulldogs were celebrating the end of their season, at the same time in Sydney the NRL were launching the final playoffs, with media a session with a player from each of the top eight teams.

Manly Sea Eagles coach Trent Barrett reportedly called off his team's Mad Monday celebrations after his side finished 15th.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Sea Eagles players were seen in costume in Sydney boarding a party cruise.
