Kiwis prop James Fisher-Harris played his 100th NRL game for the Panthers in their big win over the Raiders on Saturday night.
Before the match, the Panthers posted a video to their social accounts of the Kohukohu-born 24-year-old watching a video of the jersey presentation for his special milestone.
“You’ve made your whānau very proud of you, of your improvement and hard work,” his grandfather says in the video as Fisher-Harris wipes away tears.
Fisher-Harris’ father and his partner also speak in the video before he is given his jersey and addresses the team.
“I love this club, always wanted somewhere to belong - this is where I belong. You are my second family. Let’s go.”
The Panthers won 28-12, with Fisher-Harris running for 153m and making 30 tackles.
