Kevin Proctor seals sensational switch to Gold Coast Titans

Gold Coast have signed Melbourne second-rower Kevin Proctor to a four-year deal at the NRL club.

The 27-year-old New Zealand international, who has played 179 games for Melbourne, had been signed with the Storm until the end of 2018.

Proctor, however, has secured an early release to move to the Titans until at least the end of the 2020 season.

"It has been a long process and I needed to feel comfortable with the decision as I have had a successful time at the Melbourne Storm and made some great friends, but now I am looking forward to joining (coach) Neil (Henry) and the Titans' players and contributing to the team's success."

The Melbourne Storm forward spoke about his evolution into one of the team's key men, and how he hopes he can teach the younger players a thing or two. Source: 1 NEWS
