The Warriors' 50-10 loss to the Melbourne Storm last night could have come at a serious cost, with hooker Issac Luke suffering a potentially serious knee injury.

Luke, 30, went down after just 16 minutes in the Warriors loss, with suspected damage to his cartilage meaning potentially up to six weeks on the sideline.

Speaking after the loss, coach Stephen Kearney admitted he was unsure about the severity of Luke's injury.

"He's obviously hurt his knee but in terms of what that looks like in time, we'll wait until we get a scan back and see," he said.

"But there's a chance that he'll miss a week or so, we just need to see how that all pans out."

While Luke would no doubt be a big loss for the Warriors, the club are at least expecting to welcome back the trio of Shaun Johnson, Tohu Harris and Solomone Kata back from injury for their next clash, coming against the Wests Tigers on May 5 at Mt Smart Stadium.
