Warriors five-eighth Blake Green sung the praises of halves partner Shaun Johnson, as the club prepare for their first match of the NRL finals against the Penrith Panthers this weekend.
Having arrived at the beginning of the current season, Green has shone in a Warriors jersey, appearing to have re-ignited Johnson's abilities with ball in hand.
Green's measured approach in controlling the play has seen Johnson back to his best, with the halfback among the leaders for the NRL's assist count.
Speaking at Warriors training this morning, Green spoke highly of Johnson, saying:
"He's really easy to play with to be honest," Green said.
"It's just my job in the team to put him in the best positions possible with the footy in some space.
"Hopefully we can do that as often as we can this week."
