Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck still has plenty to give in the NRL, according to teammate Blake Green.

An outside contender for this year's Dally M Medal, Tuivasa-Sheck has been a shining light for the Warriors so far this season, captaining the side to within touching distance of a first NRL finals appearance since 2011.

However, Green believes that Tuivasa-Sheck's golden season is only the tip of the iceberg.

Speaking to Stuff, the five-eighth says that he sees a lot of Billy Slater, widely considered the game's best ever number one, in Tuivasa-Sheck.

"I was blown away when I first went to Melbourne by how professional Billy was. He watched so much footy of other teams, he was always so thorough in his preparation. Roger's very similar in that case but the style of footy is very different."

"I always knew Roger was a good player when I came to the club but he's going to be a very, very good leader.

"He is now, but in a few more years time he's going to be one hell of a footy player and a really big leader for this club. So I'm really pleased that we've locked him up for another four years and no one else can steal him from us."

Green and Tuivasa-Sheck will both be in action for the Warriors against the Bulldogs in Sydney on Sunday.
