Warriors stars Blake Green and Tohu Harris have sent a rallying cry to the club's Sydney based fans, looking to pack ANZ Stadium with Kiwi supporters for the start of the NRL finals on Saturday.
After finishing the regular season in eighth position on the ladder, the Warriors travel to Sydney to face the fifth placed Panthers, hoping to see their strong Sydney support outnumber the Penrith faithful, with the match being played at a neutral venue.
"We've had a tremendous following, especially in our away games," Green said.
"I'm sure this week it'll be no different.
"Any Warriors fans, get down there on Saturday night to Homebush and get behind us."
Harris echoed Green's sentiments.
"Our fans have done a great job at turning up to away games, and hopefully we get a whole lot more this weekend.
"It's an exciting time for the club, and an exciting time for the fans too, it'll be great to see them turn up."
