Former Warriors captain Monty Betham has spoken about his effort to see the club purchased by the fans.
Appearing on TVNZ 1's Breakfast this morning, Betham told Hilary Barry about the ambitious plan to see the struggling NRL side's ownership change hands.
"Every day I talk to passionate fans who love the club no matter if they win lose or draw," Betham said.
"I thought the blood, the colours are running through their veins, so lets give them an opportunity to buy it, because there's so many passionate people."
The Warriors are currently owned by businessman Eric Watson.
