Christchurch teen steps and fends his way past 10 defenders in try of the year contender

A 16-year-old has stepped and fended his way past 10 defenders in what could be a contender for the best rugby league try scored this year.

Young Felix Fa’atili scored the amazing try for the Hornby Panthers U18 side against Halswell on Monday night in Christchurch.

Footage from the sidelines captures the rampaging lock leaving defenders in his wake as he runs a full 80 metres to dot down over the line.
