Harris made the light-hearted comment about his Warriors teammate Blake Green.

Tohu Harris made a light-hearted comment about some of his Warriors teammates expressing interest in playing in the NRL Māori and Indigenous All Stars next Friday in Melbourne

Speaking to media today in Auckland, Harris said Blake Green tried to throw his hat in the ring to play in next week's fixture, unfortunately Green doesn't qualify to play for either side.

"Yeah we are all excited about it, there is a few other boys that want to be a part of it too," said Harris.

"Even Blake Kakariki [Green] is trying to get his name in there, but don't know how that went.

"We're all excited for it, it's an exciting concept."

Harris will be joined by Warriors teammates Pita Hiku, Gerard Beale and Adam Blair to play for the Māori All Star team.

The Māori All Star team is being coached by Warriors assistant Stacey Jones.
