New Zealand's Ryan Fox has retained a slim chance of victory at the European Masters in Switzerland after slipping five places to 11th on the rain-hit third day.
New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox
Fox was one-over for his third round through 14 holes at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club when fading light ended play. Cold, wet conditions had forced the field off previously.
Each round so far has included a double-bogey for the big-hitting Kiwi, with the latest coming on the par-four seventh. He responded with a lone birdie on the 14th.
It leaves him four strokes behind Australian Scott Hend, who has retained his lead despite dropping two shots in his third round. He still have five holes to play.
Fox is coming off a two-week break and hoping to recapture the form that resulted in three successive top-six finishes in Europe.
That purple patch was followed by mixed outings at the British Open and PGA Championship and a 24th placing at the Fiji Open last month.
