Kiwi golfer Lydia Ko has rocketed up the leaderboard at the Honda LPGA Thailand in Chonburi, shooting a second round score of -5.
Sitting in 31st on the leaderboard, having opened her tournament with a +1 first round score of 73, Ko began brightly on the back nine -making back to back birdies on the 14th and 15th holes.
Another birdie on the 18th saw her complete her first nine holes with a blemish free -3.
Moving to the front nine, Ko again started in fine fettle with another birdie on the second, before another on the seventh hole, giving her a blemish free second round, moving into a tie for 19th.
The Kiwi sits six shots behind leader Jenny Shin of South Korea, holding an outright claim of first place at -11 heading into the third round.
