Lydia Ko has surrendered any possible chance of victory at the ANA Inspiration in California, tied for 48th place after a lacklustre third round.
Having started the day down in 29th after a disastrous second round, Ko's attempt up the leaderboard got off to the ideal start with a birdie on the opening hole.
A bogey on the seventh though would see the Kiwi finish even par on the front nine, before a shambolic showing to finish her third round.
Even with a birdie on the 11th, a run of back-to-back bogeys on the 12th and 13th, before a double bogey on the 14th all but ended Ko's already faint hopes of glory.
Back-to-back birdies on the 15th and 16th temporarily halted Ko's decline, before one last bogey on the 17th saw the Kiwi finish on a low.
Ko currently sits at +3 for the tournament, a staggering 14 shots behind the leader, South Korea's Jin Young Ko, heading into the final day.
