Lydia Ko's recent strong form has come to grinding halt after the Kiwi golfer missed the cut in her latest LPGA event this morning.

The former World No.1 entered the Founders Cup in Arizona with four straight top 10 finishes, but after falling seven shots behind the lead yesterday with a 74, Ko failed to recover today and shot a one-over 73.

It was a consistant round, featuring only one birdie and two bogeys as she parred the rest after starting on the 10th hole.

With half the field still on the course, Ko was tied at 107th - four shots outside the cut line.

It is the first time since August last year that Ko has missed the cut.

Ko has not won on the LPGA Tour since July 2016.
