Lydia Ko is in contention for the title at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup in Phoenix, Arizona, trailing the leader by three shots heading into tomorrow's final round.
Starting out on the front nine at -10 from her first two rounds, Ko's day started perfectly with birdies on the second and third holes.
Another birdie on the seventh had the Kiwi in a share for the lead at -13, albeit temporarily, finishing her front nine at -3 for the round, -13 for the tournament.
Moving to the back nine, another birdie on the 12th saw Ko in good stead for a final charge, before another on the 15th meant a tie for second place, with even pars on the final three holes keeping the Kiwi in the hunt with a blemish free round.
Ko's stunning round was somewhat overshadowed by Spain's Carlota Ciganda, shooting an incredible -9 to move top of the leaderboard at -18 heading into tomorrow's final round.
