Australia's Jordan Zunic has won the New Zealand Open in Arrowtown, the rookie holding onto his third-round lead to win by a single shot after a stunning effort on the final hole.
The 22-year-old finished with a 21-under par total of 266, a final round 66 enough to secure him the title.
It took a dramatic approach shot on the 72nd and final hole of the tournament to secure him the title however, a playoff looking likely as he sat at 20-under with fellow Australian David Bransdon.
However he hit the flag from around 150m out, leaving him a simple putt for birdie to claim the $171,000 winner's purse.
Harry Bateman was the top placed Kiwi, finishing in a tie for 10th, seven shots behind Zunic.
