Watch: Peru fans go bonkers as footballing heroes arrive at Wellington Airport

The Peruvian football team has arrived to a hero's welcome after arriving in Wellington today.

Hundreds of Peruvians fans were on hand at Wellington Airport as the team arrived from Auckland, ahead of tomorrow's first World Cup play-off clash against New Zealand.

There was plenty of noise and colour as the team's fans willed them on, as they bid to reach the World Cup for the first time since 1982.
