Watch: Deranged Dutch fans storm onto field, attack opposing players for dominating their football team

It's fair to say fans of second-tier Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles didn't handle their team's recent loss well.

After being humbled 4-0 by De Graafschap in their Eerste Divisie clash yesterday, fans stormed on to the field to attack the winning players to vent their frustrations over the result.

Security managed to catch up to the invaders but not before players from De Graafschap opted to defend themselves with wild kicks.

The away win moved De Graafschap up to sixth place in the standings while the Eagles, who have won just one of their last six matches, are sitting well below in 17th.

FOX Sports Netherlands reports seven fans were arrested after the incident.
