Phoenix star caught up in tabloid scandal after using same nickname for two lovers - report

Wellington Phoenix star Steven Taylor has been accused of cheating after a report surfaced of him using the same nickname for his girlfriend and mistress.

The former Premier League defender, who signed with the Wellington club for the current A-League season, was dating 22-year-old model Diana Adomatis but The Sun reports he was also seeing an Australian model.

Taylor flew Adomatis over to see him in New Zealand last October, saying at the time, "thinking of you long pins. U have me smitten like a kitten over u".

However, Adomatis was left heartbroken after the Australian model messaged her revealing she had enjoyed time with Taylor a week before she arrived.

"Your boyfriend Steven Taylor is a piece of s*** liar just FYI … I was in Wellington just before you," she messaged Adomatis, according to British tabloid, which interviewed Adomatis for the article.

Adomatis, who began dating Taylor last June while he was playing for Peterborough United in League One, said it left her devastated.

"I was livid — he's obviously done this before. I feel so hurt. I told him it was over and he pleaded with me to give him another chance," Adomatis said.

"He said, 'Come over to New Zealand and we can work this out. I've made a mistake'. But I don't want anything to do him."

To add insult to injury, Adomatis found out Taylor had used the same nickname he had given her with the Australian model.

"Steven called me 'long pins' as he loved my long legs. Then I find out he's calling another woman the same thing.

"He loved me dressing up for him in stockings and suspenders and sexy underwear. He called me 'wifey'.

"I thought this was the real thing but it was all lies. He's an arrogant footballer who thinks he's God's gift and can get any woman. But the sex wasn't brilliant. I had a lucky escape."
