Stars produce collapse for the ages as Renegades win Big Bash final

The Melbourne Stars have produced one of the all-time collapses, losing seven wickets for 19 runs at one point to lose the Big Bash final to the Melbourne Renegades.

The Stars were cruising at 93/0 in the 13th over in pursuit of the Renegades’ total of 145 and on track for the team’s first BBL title.

Marcus Stoinis was the first to go before losing another six wickets in as many overs to slump to a 13-run defeat.
