Kiwi combo! Baz and Colin Munro set CPL alight with monster sixes in game-winning partnership

It's been the Brendon McCullum and Colin Munro show in the opening game of the Carribean Premier League this afternoon as the Kiwi pair starred in Trinbago Knight Rider's victory over the St Lucia Stars in Gros Islet.

The former Black Caps skipper should have been out early when fellow Kiwi Mitch McLenaghan threw him a devilish ball, but it was missed by umpires and wasn’t reviewed – a decision that would haunt the Stars.

The Kiwi duo proved unstoppable as the innings wore on, knocking 10 sixes between them (McCullum with seven, Munro with three) as their 134 run partnership secured the nine wicket win.

McCullum and Munro both notched half-centuries with McCullum claiming 58 runs off 27 balls while Munro finished the match with 66 from 39.
