The Black Caps have been bolstered by the return of star trio Adam Milne, Mitchell McClenaghan and Corey Anderson for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in England.
Mitch McClenaghan takes a West Indies wicket
The injury-plagued trio were all confirmed in the 15-man squad, having all made their return to regular action in this season's Indian Premier League.
Both McClenaghan and Milne didn't feature at all over the Black Caps' impressive home summer, while Anderson's injuries restricted him to a role as a batsman only in the T20 side.
Coach Mike Hesson spoke of his thrill at seeing the three players return to the side.
"It's been good to see all three back on the park and bowling; together they add a lot of experience to our squad," he said.
"Mitch and Adam have been running in well, and Corey has shown he’ll be capable of providing an option with the ball."
