He didn't win the title, but Colin de Grandhomme certainly went down swinging in this morning's T20 Blast final in Birmingham between Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.
The Black Caps all-rounder, along with fellow Kiwis Grant Elliot and Jeetan Patel, was attempting to chase down Notts' total of 190.
De Grandhomme entered the crease to replace Elliot with some work to do - he went on to score 27 runs off 25 balls.
Six of those runs however came in arguably the shot of the night when de Grandhomme launched a Steven Mullaney delivery into the second tier of Edgbaston Stadium.
Notts went on to win the match and claim their maiden title by 22 runs.
