March 16, 2019

Bangladesh's cricketers have left Christchurch, following their near miss during yesterday's terror attacks that left 49 people dead.

The Bangladesh side were just minutes away from being caught up in yesterdays atrocities at Christchurch's Masjid Al Noor mosque.

The team have left Christchurch under armed guard today, escorted by police as they arrived at the city's airport.

The third Test between the Black Caps and Bangladesh has been cancelled after yesterday's attacks, with the visiting team flying out of New Zealand earlier today.

Tonight's Super Rugby clash between the Highlanders and Crusaders has also been cancelled in the wake of the attacks.
