Watch as Fijian boxer drops to his knees in delight after guaranteeing Pacific nation bronze

Fijian boxer Winston Hill is guaranteed of winning at least Commonwealth Games bronze for his country after victory in the men's 69kg quarterfinals tonight.

Hill, a 24-year-old from Suva, beat Scotland's Stephen Newns in an unanimous points decision on the Gold Coast.

He slumped to his knees in delight after the judges ruled in his favour.

"I've only been in competition boxing for four years.," he said.

"I've been blessed to be surrounded by so many good people. This is all a team effort and I'm looking forward to bringing home a gold for Fiji."

Fiji currently has a gold and bronze in weightlifting, and will be hoping its men's sevens team will win its first Commonwealth gold this weekend.
