With the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast coming to an end, 1 NEWS NOW takes a look back at some of the memorable moments which made it so entertaining!

1: A defeated Zambian boxer launched an astonishing foul-mouthed tirade at his Australian rival, busting in on his opponent's interview by a TVNZ Te Karere reporter.

2: Kiwi gold medal weightlifting hero David Liti showed great sportsmanship after his medal ceremony on Monday night, offering to assist his Samoan rival who was left in a wheelchair after injuring himself in the men's 105kg+ weightlifting final.

Liti won gold in the 105kg division and didn’t hesitate to help injured silver medallist Lautiti Lui.
