Silver Ferns Captain Katrina Grant told broadcaster Peter Williams post match that her team"have to stay together" and are focused ahead of their bronze medal playoff match against Jamaica tomorrow. Grant spoke just minutes after NZ lost to Australia 65-44 in the semifinal.

BRONZE medal! New Zealand's mixed double pair Joelle King and Paul Coll comprehensively beat their English opponents two sets to love win bronze in the mixed doubles squash.

Australia beat New Zealand 65-44 in the netball. Australia go through to the final against England. They were deserved winners. New Zealand play Jamaica for the bronze medal tomorrow.

Australia's Steele Von Hoff takes out the men's road race. Welsh rider Jonathan Mould gets silver and Clint Hendricks of South Africa comes in third. Shane Archibold is the best finishing Kiwi in sixth place.

It's a fast changing men's road race with James Oram the only Kiwi in a group of three leaders including Australia's Cameron Meyer and an English rider. Other New Zealand riders are in the chasing pack with just over 2km to go.

Kenya's Helen Obiri sprints away on the final lap to win the women's 5000m. In second place was Margaret Kipkemboi and England's Laura Weightman put in a strong final lap run fo r bronze. New Zealand's Camille Buscomb come in 12th place.
