Breakfast presenter Jack Tame was left a little bit flustered on air this morning after Tall Blacks coach Paul Henare admitted he has a little man-crush on him.
During an interview segment on the TVNZ1 morning show, Tame was informed by Christchurch reporter Jordan Oppert Henare has a "wee man-crush on ya".
Henare went on to explain he just has lots of respect for Tame.
"I just think you're a really, nice young man," he said.
"You look like a great guy."
The compliments left Tame a bit red-faced, as he struggled to find words to reciprocate the respect.
"He's a great point guard, he's got hustle."
Henare laughed before declaring there was a "mutual thing going on here".
Henare is in Christchurch with the Tall Blacks preparing for tomorrow night's World Cup qualifier match against Jordan before heading to Wellington for Sunday's game against Syria.
"We've got four remaining games and if we win two out of four we qualify for the world cup so they're massive games for us."
