Watch: 'Is what it is, mate' - Steven Adams plays down on-court scuffle with Bucks star

November 2, 2017

Steven Adams has played it cool once again with the media after being involved in an on-court altercation with a fellow NBA star in yesterday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bucks guard Khris Middleton threw the ball in frustration at Adams' chest late in the second quarter after the pair got tied up underneath the hoop contesting a possible rebound.

Adams walked towards Middleton, with officials and teammates having to separate the pair.

Both players were given technical fouls as a result, but Adams said it was all part of the game.

"It's just the old battle," Adams said.

"You get a bit heated on the old floor and it happened but we carried on - it is what it is."

The big Kiwi scored a double-double as the Thunder went on to win the match 110-91, with Adams contributing 14 points and 11 rebounds.
