Watch: 'It's bull****' - Steven Adams doesn't hold back in on-court interview after tough win over Lebron James' Lakers

January 4, 2019

Steven Adams is taking his no-nonsense approach on court into his postgame interviews as well after delivering a blunt answer regarding fans after yesterday's win over the Lakers.

Adams added another double-double to his season total with 14 points and 15 rebounds in the 107-100 win at a hostile Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

The crowd booed all star teammate Paul George throughout the game after he decided to stay with the Oklahoma City Thunder on a long-term deal in the offseason instead of adhering to rumours and returning to his hometown and signing with LeBron James and the Lakers.

When asked if Adams fed off the negative energy in his strong performance, he delivered a candid answer.

"I personally don't - I think it's a bunch of bull****," he said.

"We're bloody professionals. We should be coming out every night and not just relying on the fans to do so.

"We've got to play for each other more so than, 'oh the fans are giving him a hard time, lets play even harder'."

Despite the boos, George posted another strong outing for the thunder with 37 points, four rebounds and two assists.
