Watch: Humble Steven Adams praises teammates for red-hot scoring form – 'I don't do much mate'

November 20, 2017

Kiwi NBA star Steven Adams has heaped praise onto his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates, when asked about his red hot scoring form to start the 2017-18 season.

So far in the 2017-18 NBA season, Adams is averaging 12.6 points per game, along with 8.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists, up on his career numbers of 7.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists.

When interviewed by OKC's media team, Adams was his usual Kiwi self, suggesting it was down to the work of his teammates, rather than any kind of individual brilliance.

"I don't do much mate," he said.

"There's no credit on me, it's the other three (Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony)."
