If things go to plan for young Isaac Letoa, Steven Adams won't be the only Kiwi in the NBA.
The 18-year old Junior Tall Black and basketball prodigy has been awarded a scholarship to Dartmouth College - an Ivy League university in New Hampshire, USA.
"For it to be finally happening is just something that I've dreamed of," Letoa told 1 NEWS.
"The goal has always been to play basketball professionally, it's what I love so that will always be the first option."
Letoa won't be alone in plying his trade in the American system, with 120 other Kiwis currently residing stateside.
Letoa even managed to name drop Steven Adams in his interview with the school, with Dartmouth College well aware of the OKC star's ability.
"He said we all follow big Steve over here, we know what Kiwis are like," Letoa's mother Paula said.
Letoa will get over $500,000 worth of education over his four year scholarship - but if all goes to plan, a multi-million dollar NBA contract shouldn't be too far away after that.
