The Breakers have lost another of their Tall Blacks stars, with Rob Loe heading across the ditch having signed for the Cairns Taipans.
With veteran Mika Vukona confirmed to be joining the Brisbane Bullets ahead of the new NBL season, fellow Kiwi Loe will be another Kiwi out the door at the Breakers, signing a two-year deal with the Taipans.
"Rob has a winning mentality. He plays within the team framework and has a toughness that will help us battle in the physical play of the ANBL," Taipans coach Mike Kelly said.
"He rebounds, sets good screens and likes contact, but at the same time, has an ability to shoot the ball in the post and outside the arc."
Loe might not be the last of the Breakers' stars out the door this current off-season, with centre Alex Pledger also rumoured to be on the outer at the club.
